Now residing in Omaha, Nebraska, Cox is a member of the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a ten-time Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award winner for Best Americana/Folk (2009-2014, 2021, 2022, 2024), Album Of The Year (2018), and Best Blues (2008).
